Big Ant Studios has now released a new patch for AO Tennis for both the PS4 and Xbox One consoles. The patch is around 3GB in size and should be available to gamers in both Australia and New Zealand.
Big Ant Studios posted full details of the patch notes over on the official AO Tennis Facebook page. You can read the full patch notes down below.
A new patch has gone live for AO Tennis (Patch 1.13 PS4/ Patch 8 Xbox One), and has added in some much-requested features to the game. Patch notes below:
- Added unique animations to licensed players.
- Added selectable serve and stroke animations.
- Added additional match options.
- Improvements to AI tactics.
- Added new camera options.
I’ve managed to download and install the patch myself already and the improvements are quite good. The Legend difficulty is slightly more challenging that it has been in the past. I also noticed the physics and speed of the ball is better than in the last patch.
As for the camera options, there are now closer viewpoints. The new camera angles look neat because they appear from the perspective from a linesman. It makes the game more realistic as you see how the court looks like from a ground level as opposed to the overheard view.
As of right now, AO Tennis is only available for PS4 and Xbox One gamers living in the countries of New Zealand and Australia. A worldwide release date has yet to be announced, but Big Ant Studios promises it is still scheduled to come out sometime later this year.
