Even though Kingdom Hearts 3 is supposed to be out in 2018, Square Enix has still not revealed too much information about the game. However, some more small details keep dripping as we get closer to its still unannounced release date.
A small blurb about Kingdom Hearts 3 was written in the Official PlayStation Australia magazine in its February 2018 issue. KHInsider provided a scan and it sounds like that the magazine may have spilled the beans on what could be brand new information that was not known about before.
PlayStation Official Magazine Australia wrote the following: “The latest game in the Disney-meets-Final-Fantasy mash up series is split between the perspectives of best buds Sora and Riku. You will meet a host of new characters whose help you’ll need to stop the evil Keyblade war. Familiar faces and places return but there are new worlds to visit inspired by Toy Story, Fantasia and Tangled.
The flow of the action too will be recognisable for fans but there are a few tweaks. For example, Drove Forms return with new weapons, and combat movement has also been improved; you’re now able to wall-run and even climb larger enemies.”
Since this news has yet to be confirmed by Square Enix, we are categorizing this as a rumor for now. That said, this is from the Official PlayStation Magazine so Sony should have more information than the public does.
Sadly despite getting announced back at E3 2013, there is still no release date for Kingdom Hearts 3. All that Square Enix has told us now is that the game should be out sometime within the year of 2018. Hopefully this release schedule sticks because fans will be upset if the release date gets delayed until 2019 instead!
