When Gran Turismo Sport released back in October 2017, many gamers were annoyed due to the lack of content it had compared to the previous games in the series. Thankfully, Polyphony Digital has been listening to all of the feedback and is offering lots of free content for everyone to enjoy including new cars, additional tracks and more.
All of the new content in Gran Turismo Sport is coming later this month in update patch version number 1.11. The patch itself is expected to be released tomorrow so look out for it.
The new cars added are: Toyota Supra RZ (N300), Toyota 2000GT (N200), Toyota FT-1 (N500), Jaguar XJ13 (Gr.X), McLaren F1 (N600), Ferrari 512 BB (N400), Ferrari 330 P4 (Gr.X), Lamborghini Diablo GT (N600), Ford GT (N600) and a Dodge Viper GTS (N500).
The new single player events include: Raptor Survival (Beginner League), J-Sport Meeting (Amateur League), La Festa Cavallino (Professional League) and the Gr.3 Endurance Series (Endurance League).
Lastly the new update is adding two new tracks into the game. The Monza circuit in Italy will be included as well as a made up race course called Autodrome Lago Maggiore. Additional layouts are available for the tracks so there is multiple ways you can experience the new locations.
So far Polyphony Digital have been really kind as all of the content released so far have been free. This is unlike other games where lots of DLC is hidden behind a paywall. If you did not want to buy Gran Turismo Sport last year, getting it this year is a better idea as the new free updates are making the game better than what it was when it launched in October 2017.
