EA has released a new trailer for EA Sports UFC 3 that shows us a closer look at the Career Mode. This is your chance to finally live out life as an MMA fighter without getting hurt in real life!
EA Sports writes: “For the first time in EA SPORTS UFC, the choices you make outside of the Octagon impact your path to greatness inside of the Octagon. Between each bout, make promotional choices that help you gain fans, build hype for your next fight, and earn more lucrative contracts from the UFC. How you promote outside of the Octagon matters just as much as how you perform inside of it if you want to become the greatest of all time.”
It sounds like EA is taking a page out of the NBA 2K series where your outside life (in the game) affects your sporting career. You also need to rake up some wins in order to get a lot of fans and noticed by the UFC elites.
Promotion plays a big part in the actual sport of MMA. Conor McGregor would not have been famous if he was quiet and humble like the NBA’s Kawhi Leonard. McGregor’s brash attitude and loud mouth made him the famous fighter he is today.
The trailer gives you a taste on what you can expect to see and do in the new career mode. Not to mention you can click here to know more details about the career mode. It sounds like a lengthy mode that will keep players occupied for many hours.
EA Sports UFC 3 releases on February 2nd, 2018 for the PS4 and Xbox One consoles. If you have an Xbox One, you can play the game early via EA Access later this month for 10 hours.
