The PS4 is still the best selling console in this new generation and it seems as if its dominance is not going to slow down anytime soon.
Sony announced in a press release that it has now sold over 70.6 million units worldwide as of December 3rd, 2017. In terms of software sales, 617.8 million games have been sold both digitally and at retail stores.
The PlayStation VR headset is not doing too badly either as the device has now sold over 2 million units already. As for PSVR games, over 12.2 million of them have been sold thus far.
The PS4 console is selling at a faster rate than the previous PS3 generation. It will be interesting to see how much more units Sony can sell.
