Devil May Cry 4 came out back in 2008 and fans have been waiting patiently for Devil May Cry 5. Well we may not have to wait much longer to play as Dante again as a fifth game is reportedly in development.
This rumor/leak comes from a person with inside knowledge who posted all of the information on the Reset Era forum pages. Unlike DmC in 2013, this will be a true sequel to the franchise.
The release date was scheduled for November 2018, but may have been pushed back until early 2019. The game was going to be revealed at PSX, but now it looks like it will be unveiled at E3 2018 instead.
The game has been in development for two years already, and it sounds like Sony has helped. Due to Sony’s involvement, there could be some sort of PS4 exclusivity deal with the game.
