The move to the past has been a good one for the COD franchise as Call of Duty: WWII is selling much better compared to last year’s release of Infinite Warfare.
As reported by Game Industry, Call of Duty: WWII earned an impressive $500 million already in just three days.
It’s not the fastest selling game in franchise history, but it’s twice the sales of Infinite Warfare. It falls shy of the $550 million that Black Ops 3 got two years ago.
Activision also confirmed the new WWII video game is also the best selling digital video game on PS4 on launch day. Specific numbers were not given, but a lot of people would have downloaded the game rather than buy it at retail stores.
