Sony has released a new system update for the PS4 today. Today’s firmware takes the version number up to 4.74.
The update itself is around 324 MB to download and should be available in most regions. If not, it should be coming out later today.
The patch notes listed are: “This system software update improves system performance“. This is the only notable thing that this new update does.
The new big PS4 update should be version number 5.00. This update is now in beta so it should be released for the rest of the public sometime later this year.
