It appears Microsoft has to delay the release of Crackdown 3 from Fall 2017 until Spring 2018. This is kind of a big blow with the Xbox One X on the way very soon.
This new piece of news was revealed via Polygon. Microsoft Studios Publishing general manager, Shannon Loftis, said that gamers “can expect Crackdown 3 in Spring of 2018“.
As expected, the reason for the delay is due to polishing up the gameplay. The game has a single player campaign, co-op multiplayer and competitive multiplayer. They want to make sure all of the modes and balanced before they release the game to the public.
The game was due to be out this November alongside the release of the Xbox One X console. Now it seems that only Forza Motorsport 7 is the sole AAA exclusive that will be out for Microsoft this Fall.
