The world famous strategy franchise is returning with Microsoft announcing Age of Empires IV.
It has been over a decade since the last full iteration, Age of Empires III, was released: discounting the likes of Age of Empires online. Now publisher Microsoft Studios has confirmed that Age of Empires IV is in development for the PC. No release date has been set nor has gameplay been unveiled but it will still excite a lot of gamers. Let’s just hope it is closer to the golden era of II than then non-zoom years of III.
