Nintendo has updated its financial results and sales for the Nintendo Switch console remain strong. Nintendo is sure to sell a lot of units by the end of 2017.
By the end of June 30th, Nintendo has shipped over 4.7 million Nintendo Switch units. Hopefully the company is able to ship even more units by the end of the year. Demand is really high at the moment, but sadly Nintendo is unable keep up with supply.
In terms of software, 13.60 million video games have been shipped for the Switch so far. Games such as Mario Kart 8 Deluxe and The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild are the ones that have sold the most.
In terms of the 3DS, 67.08 million units have shipped so far. Games shipped thus far is a staggering 335.10 million units. The 3DS is still going strong even with the Switch out in the market.
Not much has changed with the Nintendo Wii U. The console has only shipped 13.56 million units so far. This number is sure to be overtaken by the Switch in its first year.
