Web slinging is very important in Spider-Man games and Spider-Man PS4 is no exception. Fans will be happy to know that web slinging should feel very realistic and fun once the full game comes out.
Insomniac Games tweeted out: “Web-swinging in the game is physics and momentum-based with webs that attach to buildings!“. This is the way it should be. 2004’s Spider-Man 2 was the first to adopt this method, but sadly other Spidey games since then has never felt as good.
In some other games, Spidey would attach his webs to the sky for some reason. This felt unrealistic and not true to the movies or comic books. It looks like Spider-Man PS4 will rectify this and give fans a system that will satisfy a lot of people.
There’s still no release date for the game, but it will be out sometime in 2018. It is a PS4 exclusive, so don’t expect to see this game released for PC, Xbox One or Nintendo Switch.
