The Nintendo 3DS finally gets a proper Metroid video game as Nintendo announced today that Metroid: Samus Returns will be released later this year.
Nintendo writes: “Metroid: Samus Returns is an action-packed, side-scrolling shooter which has been remade to include engaging and immersive 3D visuals and a rich, atmospheric color palette. Metroid: Samus Returns launches September 15, 2017.”
You may have already noticed that Metroid Prime 4 is also coming in the near future for Nintendo Switch. This means the franchise is in full swing again. We can put the days of Federation Force behind us. Check out the new trailer for the game below.
