The ESRB has now rated the highly anticipated Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy on its website. The details shouldn’t be too surprising since this game is a remake/remaster of the original video games released on the PSOne.
As expected, Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy has been rated E for everyone over the age of 10. The content descriptors are for “Cartoon Violence and Comic Mischief”.
The rating summary says: “This is a platformer game in which players assume the role of Crash Bandicoot as he works to foil a villain’s plot. Players traverse platforms and defeat enemies and bosses in order to progress the story. Crash can jump on enemies’ heads or use a spin attack to knock enemies out. Some sequences allow players to pilot a plane and shoot at enemy blimps causing them to explode. Boss battles involve more protracted combat. One boss character wears an outfit that reveals a slightly exposed buttocks (e.g., “plumber’s crack”
As you may know already, this collection includes Crash Bandicoot, Crash Bandicoot 2: Cortex Strikes Back as well as Crash Bandicoot 3: Warped all in one package. Aside from the updated graphics, the gameplay itself has been largely unchanged. Even the music has stayed the same. The game is out for PS4 on June 30th, 2017.
