If you think there is a chance that the Xbox Scorpio might be delayed, think again. It sounds like the release schedule for Fall 2017 is still a go for Microsoft and there shouldn’t be any minute delays.
A fan asked Xbox Head Phil Spencer on Twitter if there was a change in the release date for Xbox Scorpio. He replied with: “Schedule looks very good right now, no issues.”
This means the console is on track for Fall 2017. We may hear more of an official specific release date at this year’s E3 event. E3 2017 might also be the first ever time that we get to see what the console actually looks like.
Microsoft needs to be competitive again with both Sony and Nintendo having a great start to 2017 with some excellent first-party titles. Spencer has said in the past many unannounced games are yet to be revealed.
