We can mostly agree that Persona 5 is one of the best games to be released in the year of 2017. The game’s director, Katsura Hashino, has now posted a thank you message.
Hashino posted the thank you message on the PlayStation Blog. He wants to acknowledge the Western fans that bought and loved the game. He is happy that Western gamers received the game well as he said the game is “very Japanese”.
He says most other Japanese superhero stories involve them fighting off invaders outside of their society. He did something different with Persona 5 as the villain(s) were all within the same society as the heroes.
He’s happy that many people loved the story aspect of the game both in Japan and overseas. He ended by saying: “I appreciate all your support for the newest entry in the Persona series, and I hope that everyone will enjoy the new Atlus RPGs to come.”
