Xbox Insiders can now download a new Xbox One update. This is a small preview update for Insiders to test out before it gets released to the public.
Microsoft posted details on the update via the Xbox forums. Its main goal is to fix issues with Games and Apps so it doesn’t add any new features. Normal Xbox One owners may get this update at a later date. Check out the patch notes below.
Games and Apps
- Fixed an issue which could cause games and apps to sort alphabetically when using “Sort by last used” or “Sort by last update”.
- Certain games should no longer appear in the Apps section while they are installing.
- Resolved an issue which could sometimes cause uninstalled games to display as installed in the Games category.
Localization
- Miscellaneous localization fixes and improvements.
Tournaments
- Fixed an issue which could sometimes prevent users from participating in Tournaments.
Remember, this update is only available if you are an Xbox Insider. Insiders get a chance to preview and test out new updates and features before anyone can.
