If you are looking forward to playing Splatoon 2, you will be happy to know that the map rotation should be a little bit more faster than it was in the original video game.
The game’s producer Hisashi Nogami was interviewed by EDGE (via Nintendo Everything), and he talked about the map rotations being faster than before. It’s a slight improvement over the original.
He said: “We feel that part of the gameplay is actually selecting which weapons would be best for that combination of two maps. In Splatoon 2, the maps rotate every two hours, so it’ll be a much faster cycle than the previous game“.
Two hours is still a long time, but at least it’s better than nothing. Hopefully Nintendo could make map rotations even faster when it comes out. The game launches on July 21st, 2017 exclusively for the Nintendo Switch console.
