If you missed out pre-ordering Injustice 2, Darkseid is no longer available as a free playable character. You can still play as him, although this will cost you an additional fee.
If you didn’t pre-order Injustice 2, Darkseid is now available as paid DLC for a cost of $5.99. The PlayStation Store description says: “Play as Darkseid – the tyrannical ruler of the planet Apokolips. Each additional character comes with their own library of earnable gear.”
$5.99 is kind of expensive for just one character, but fighting games usually do this. NetherRealm did this before offering Goro as additional paid DLC if you missed out pre-ordering Mortal Kombat X.
The game is out now for PS4 and Xbox One. You can also download a mobile version for Android and iOS devices. No PC or Nintendo Switch versions have been confirmed so far.

September 1, 2018 at 5:43 PMI what makes me mad though, is just like Mortal Kombat Gold Edition, it doesn’t actually come with all the characters, just some. So here I get every single character in the game and future DLC, except, Darksied. Is 4.99 a lot? No, but it still bugs me! I feel like, Neither realms more so then any other game maker, does this a lot to me as a gamer. They convince me, I’m getting a Komplete package only to find out later, it’s just a, every character so far (Mortal Kombat did this to me, by only including the first Kombat pack, not the second in my edition, so if I want the rest, I have to fork over 20 more dollars!). I just can’t help but feel screwed over in the end.
