Nintendo has announced its recent financial results and it has now updated its shipments figures for the Nintendo Switch console itself as well as many of its most popular video games.
Nintendo revealed all of its results via a PDF file. As of March 31st, 2017, the Nintendo Switch console has shipped 2.74 million units so far. The company expects it will ship 10 million units between the next fiscal year of April 1st, 2017 until March 31st, 2018.
In terms of software sales, 5.46 million copies have been shipped so far. The best performing game by far is The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild. Shipments for that game have reached 3.84 million units. This is broken down to 2.76 million for the Switch version and 1.08 million units on Wii U.
The best seller for Nintendo recently has been Pokemon Sun and Pokemon Moon. Those games have shipped over 15.44 million units so far. Super Mario Maker on 3DS managed to ship 2.34 million units.
