The most requested game to be Xbox One backwards compatible has finally made the leap. Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 is now backwards compatible.
Unlike other video games, Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 had a whole press release on Xbox Wire for this announcement. Microsoft announced that the game should be Xbox One backwards compatible as of today.
Fans that already own the game can play it on Xbox One for no additional cost. If you own the disc, just pop into the disc tray. It will be in your downloads list if you bought the digital copy back on the Xbox 360.
To celebrate the occasion, new players can purchase the game for 50% to 60% off the normal price until April 17th. The game will also be compatible for the Project Scorpio console out later this year too.
