Microsoft has revealed a brand new Xbox One controller they are dubbing the “Tech Series”. It’s priced lower than an Elite Controller, but still has some upgrades.
The Tech Series has been inspired by military technology and there are performance upgrades. The first in the range is called the “Recon Tech Special Edition”. It will be released on April 25th in North America and is priced at $69.99 USD.
The back of the controller has soft rubber for comfort. It will also have the same features as other Xbox One controllers and works on both Windows 10 PCs and Samsung Gear VR.
Microsoft also says it will release a new feature called Copilot for controllers that allow you to connect two Xbox One controllers to act as one. They say this feature is great for people that need assistance in gaming such as young kids or novice players.
