For those that love the first Destiny game, don’t worry as that game will still be supported when Destiny 2 eventually comes out. It won’t be a ghost town according to Bungie.
IGN had a chance to speak with Bungie community manager, David Dague. He promised that the first game will still be alive for those that want to still play it.
He said: “Our plan is to continue to support Destiny 1 for the foreseeable future. Destiny 1 will still be there. So if somebody wants to have a throwback night and go back and revisit the things that they loved about Destiny, they can.”
It’s likely Bungie will give Destiny 2 all the attention when it comes out, so we’re not sure what kind of support the first game will get. Well at least the servers won’t be shutting off so that’s a good thing. The sequel is expected to be out later this year.
