PlayStation Ireland seems have to confirmed today that the Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy is only coming to the PS4 console. This is sad news for owners of other platforms.
PlayStation Ireland confirmed this via Twitter. You can see their message posted below. Sadly they didn’t clarify if the Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy is timed exclusive or exclusive forever.
@Irishgamerman Hi David, this will be PS4 exclusive.

Considering all of the original games are PSOne exclusives, it does make sense. However, Sony doesn’t own the rights to the character anymore as Activision still holds ownership of the IP.
The trilogy remake will be available on June 30th, 2017. The game has been fully rebuilt using a new game engine and making necessary gameplay improvements. It will be more than just your usual remaster.
Update: PlayStation Ireland days later clarified its tweet. They said the game is coming to PS4 and PS4 Pro “first”. This means it should be a timed exclusive as expected.
