Resident Evil 7 is releasing shortly on PC, PS4 and Xbox One and it’s expected to be popular. Sadly, it sounds like there won’t be a Nintendo Switch version of the game.
This news was confirmed by Masachika Kawata who is the Producer for Resident Evil 7. He said the sad news during an interview with Express UK.
He said: “I think it’s a very unique piece of hardware. I’m looking forward to the possibilities of the system itself, but we have no plans at the moment regarding Resident Evil on Switch“.
It appears many third party developers are waiting to see how the Nintendo Switch performs before they announce new games for the system. EA recently said only FIFA is coming to the system so far.
Not to mention there are some developers that feel the new console is under-powered for their games. A developer for Respawn recently said the Switch wouldn’t be able to handle Titanfall 2.
