Yakuza fans will be happy to know that Yakuza 6 will get a physical release when it’s out in 2018 for Western countries.
PR manager for SEGA, John Hardin tweeted: “Just so we’re clear btw, Yakuza Kiwami and Yakuza 6 are both getting physical releases in the west.”
The only reason this news is significant is because Yakuza 5 was only available in Western countries via the PlayStation Store when it came out to the West last year. It’s great that SEGA are now treating the Yakuza series as a main priority in the West.
