The Holiday season is upon us now and Niantic will be keeping players occupied by giving us lots of events to do in Pokemon Go during the break.
Niantic revealed all the events on the Pokemon Go website. Firstly, they will be increasing your chances to hatch Togepi and other Pokemon from Christmas Day until January 3rd. Pokestops will also award players an incubator each day. Visiting Pokestops from next week also increase your chances of hatching different types of Pokemon in the Johto region.
They also announced the following: In addition, from the afternoon of December 30, 2016, through the afternoon of January 8, 2017 (PST), the first partner Pokémon and their Evolutions, originally discovered in the Kanto region, are more likely to be encountered.
This means there’s more chance for you to catch the starter Pokemon’s evolution types. In other words, stronger Pokemon such as Charizard and Blastoise will be more common.
Lastly, it was also revealed that you will see the Pikachu with the Santa hat more often during this period.
