Gravity Rush 2 has gone gold which means development for the game is finished. There won’t be any more delays so the release date should be final.
Gravity Rush 2’s game director made the announcement on Twitter in Japanese. A rough translation basically says the game has been delivered safely and and it should be out this January. They have made improvements to the animation.
The game will be out exclusively for the PS4 on January 20th, 2017. The main reason for its delay was to avoid conflicting with The Last Guardian’s release date of December 6th, 2016. The original release date for the Gravity Rush sequel was December 2nd, 2016.
