During a Nintendo Direct broadcast held on Thursday, September 1 – Nintendo announced that the charming and adorable Yoshi’s Woolly World, which previously launched on Wii U, will see release on Nintendo 3DS in early 2017 with new features and content. Poochy and Yoshi’s Woolly World is coming to Nintendo 3DS, and it has new features and content now found in the Wii U original. With loveable characters and beautiful visual style, it is no wonder why this game is considered by many to be the best Yoshi title since Yoshi’s Island released on SNES.
Poochy and Yoshi’s Woolly World is a cute and fun adventure that 2D platform fans won’t want to miss out on.
The newly announced 3DS version has new features, and contains all the stages and content of the Wii U original. Exclusive new stages will put players in control of Yoshi’s loveable pup – Poochy. In these new stages, players will use Poochy to jump and collect beads. Another new addition is the Poochy Pups. These new little critters will aid players in their search of secrets and hidden collectables by jumping on suspicious areas – thus indicating that the player should investigate.
Nintendo and Japanese stop-motion animation studio Dwarf are collaborating on 30 animated shorts featuring Yoshi and Poochy. These animated shorts will be included in the Nintendo 3DS version of the game, and will show the daily activities of Yoshi and Poochy.
A yarn amiibo figure of Poochy will release along with the game on Feb. 3, 2017.
