The PS4 had been outselling the Xbox One for many months until July 2016. Microsoft’s console finally beat Sony since October 2015.
IGN reported on the NPD sales for July 2016 and the Xbox One was the best selling console in the USA for that month.
Sales for Microsoft’s console increased because there were some price cuts due to the release of the new S console coming out in August. One has to wonder if the PS4 will rebound in August with the release of No Man’s Sky.
