Nintendo eShop: Nindies Summer Jam discounts upcoming indie Wii U/3DS releases

Nintendo of America have announced that each Thursday during the month of September will receive exciting new digital releases from their Nindie partners. During the first week of launch, participating titles will be available for a discounted price of 10% off from their original pricing. With a high-quality lineup of Nindie software planned for September, this 10% discount is a great incentive to get Wii U and 3DS owners to purchase and play these wonderful and exciting games.

A handful of games will receive the special Summer Jam pricing discount, and they are titles that should be on your radar. The Nindies Summer Jam sales event will kick off on Thursday, Sept. 1 when Axiom Verge sees release for Wii U – find gameplay footage of the Wii U version of the title here.

The release schedule is as follows:

• Axiom Verge on September 1st
• Jotun: Valhalla Edition on September 8th
• Noitu Love: Devolution on September15th
• Severed on September 30th
• Azure Striker GUNVOLT 2 on September 30^th

Nintendo will continue to release quality indie titles throughout the remainder of the year. The company shared the Nindie lineup for Nintendo 3DS and Wii U for 2016 and early 2017, and it’s quite impressive.
