Ubisoft has just announced that Operation Dust Line, a completely free update for Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Siege, will go live on May 11th for Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC.
In an effort to fully support the title and provide new post-launch content for the game, Ubisoft has put together an update which brings in two new Operators, a new map and “improvements to gameplay”. The two new Operators are US Navy SEALs Valkyrie, who can give her team “a new eye in the sky” and Blackbeard, whose equipped with a transparent Rifle Shield to balance armor and vision.
The most notable improvement that the Operation Dust update brings in is Loadout Customization between rounds, which aims to provide gamers “additional tactical choices between rounds.” This is a much needed balance feature, which hopefully will be implemented correctly to not impact the speed of the game.
Season Pass holders will instantly receive the two new Navy SEAL Operators. Non-Season Pass owners will be able to unlock them using the in-game ‘Renown’ currency from May 18th.
