With Dark Souls 3 launching in about three months, it seems that the first Dark Souls will be coming to Xbox One via backwards compatibility alongside the game.
According to Microsoft’s UK site, those who pre-order Dark Souls 3 will receive a free code for the first Dark Souls on Xbox One in “seven to ten days”. Those who have purchased games before like Rainbow Six Siege or Just Cause 3 where they received their code a week after the release, the promotion for Dark Souls 3 is the same.
Dark Souls 3 is due out this April for Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC. If you were to ask me, I rather get the game on Xbox One, now that I’m getting the first Dark Souls game free of charge.
