Ahead of the PlayStation Experience event this weekend, Sony is pleased to announce today that PS2 games will be coming to PS4 via the PlayStation Store starting tomorrow.
To kick it off, eight classic blockbuster PS2 games will be coming to the PlayStation 4 retailing at $14.99 each. Each of the titles are up-rended to 1080p, will have a Trophy Support, and will use features such as remote play.
The eight titles that will be coming tomorrow are the following:
Dark Cloud — $14.99
Grand Theft Auto III — $14.99
Grand Theft Auto: Vice City — $14.99
Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas — $14.99
Rogue Galaxy — $14.99
The Mark of Kri — $14.99
Twisted Metal: Black — $9.99
War of the Monsters — $9.99
While it’s a good news that PS2 games are finally coming, it’s quite disappointing that the prices are kinda high for a PS2 classics. I was expecting Dark Cloud to be at least $9.99, but hey at least it’s coming!
Now, bring Suikoden III, IV, and V please!
