Radiant Entertainment has just released the first unstable version of Alpha 13 for their adorable title Stonehearth.
Originating life as a Kickstarter project, Stonehearth has come on leaps and bounds over the past year with additional content being constantly added; alongside hundreds of bug fixes. The release of Alpha 13 is the first venture into the Rayya’s Children content: which adds a brand new playable race into the game. The big change is that Rayya’s Children live in a distinctive dessert biome rather than the green grass and forest biome currently seen in the game.
The Alpha 13 unstable branch release brings in a range of features including a potter class, clay buildings and the hearthling therapist. Bug fixes have also made the cut and these are listed below:
• Fixed idle hearthling problem where hearthlings would refuse to mine or build a structure.
• Fixed engine error when spawning camps in some locations.
• Fixed false positives for Lavasoft crashes.
• Other Changes
• Increase experience gain for the Shepherd. Feeding animals now also grants experience.
• Added tooltips to resources in the building designer.
• Improved placement of decorative items on ledges.
