Prospect Games has recently confirmed that their upcoming physics-based platformer, Unbox, has successfully been Greenlit on Steam; or in their words it has “Delivered the Goods”.
Unbox as the name suggests is a game based around boxes. Not just any boxes though, ones that can navigate their way around an island, use power ups and even wear comedic items like large sombreros. In just two weeks Unbox managed to accumulate 7,390 “Yes” votes on Steam’s Greenlight section, mostly due to its fun nature and odd charm.
Unfortunately I cannot take credit for the following pun Prospect Games’ deserves the groans! They have released a short video to celebrate the “crate” success of the Unbox Greenlight campaign.
Prospect Games will be in attendance at Play Expo in Manchester, UK, this weekend (10th-11th October). According to the developers “Attendees will get to experience the box-based madness across a number of competitive multiplayer modes and exploration-based single player.”
