The Xbox (360) has had a stronghold on the sports scene for years. Dorms and Madden used to be synonymous with the Xbox 360 and still does. Microsoft will surely unveil ongoing partnerships with EA, delivering exclusive content (typically Ultimate Team cards) into titles like FIFA and Madden. There hasn’t been a proper baseball title on either Xbox console in two years with Sony’s The Show franchise leading the competition. While I doubt Microsoft will get their own baseball title to gain a bit more of the market share, especially with the baseball season already in full swing by the time their conference comes around, there are other venues to explore. A rumored Joe Montana football could make its appearance during Microsoft’s press conference and be announced to be exclusive to the Xbox family, giving sports fans another reason to consider picking the All-in-One Entertainment System this year.
