Gran Turismo 6
Polyphony Digital’s last racing sim released on the PlayStation 3 just months after the new hardware shipped worldwide. Gran Turismo 6 pushed the borders of what a car simulation could offer with nearly 1,200 cars at launch and plenty of free DLC support afterwards. Driveclub aimed to be what a next-gen racer should feel like, but the core gameplay felt too watered down and “arcade-y” to Gran Turismo veterans. With a fresh coat of paint and tuning for Sony’s powerful console, this could be a viable contender against Microsoft’s Forza Motorsports 6.
