Slightly Mad Studios’ flagship racing title, Project CARS, has once again slipped behind the release calendar and will now ship a few weeks after its intended date.
Project CARS first held a November 2014 release date but was initially held back to “polish the game even further to the high standards that both ourselves and our community demand and expect,” according to studio head Ian Bell. Now with the March 20th date drawing closer, a second delay has pushed the ambitious racer out of the 2014 fiscal year. Ian Bell once again had this to say regarding the push into early April for Project CARS:
“Moving a release date was not an easy decision to make, as we know our fans are eager to get their hands-on on Project CARS. (sic) But we know that these extra days will allow us to provide the best game experience that our fans deserve. We assure you the wait will be worth it when the game does arrive early April”.
Project CARS is now slated to arrive on April 2nd for PC, PS4, and Xbox One with a WiiU release still to be date.
