If there’s one mode that Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare was missing at launch, it was the addition of Gun Game. By giving players a goal of murdering everyone on the server with a different weapon each time, it certainly mixed things up and gave players a reason to put aside their trusty sidearm for something else.
Earlier this week, studio head Michael Condrey posted the above image on his own personal twitter account. While not directly stating that Gun Game was arriving in a future update, the loading screen seems like a decent start of evidence. Couple that with the weapon list that’s been creeping up in Advanced Warfare‘s code and there’s more evidence leading to the arrival of Gun Game, hopefully as a free patch before the second DLC map pack is set to drop. If you’ve never played Gun Game before, it is typically a free-for-all mode where players race typically from the weaker weapons all the way up to the strongest sniper rifles and assault weapons, ranking up with each sequential kill. The player to get a kill with the final weapon (in this case, a Crossbow), is the winner. The below list is courtesy of DidUknowiPwn from the Denkirson Forums.
