The week of December 7th through the 14th marks another slice of new release pie. One unusual note about this week’s new releases is the complete lack of physical media (Temple of Osiris on PS4 is simply a download-voucher in the box), instead opting completely for digital releases. The Ace Attorney Trilogy offers the first three Phoenix Wright titles in one concise package, playable in both English and Japanese depending on preference. Xeodrifter is the newest release from Renegade Kid and offers one more Metroidvania style platformer to the 3DS’ growing roster. Lucadian Chronicles explores a free-to-play model, similar to the recent release of Steel Diver or Tank!Tank!Tank! where players can get the base game for free and play a fair (but limited) bit of content, or pay $7.99 to unlock the full experience with no other microtransactions.
