Another surprise reveal during the Playstation Experience was the return of Final Fantasy VII, seventeen years after the original release on PlayStation 1 in 1997.
While not the full-fledged remake fans have been desiring since the tech demo teaser for the PlayStation 3, Final Fantasy VII is still seeing new life on the next-gen hardware with an upcoming release. Based off of the recent PC port of Final Fantasy VII, there will be “enhanced graphics,” an updated translation, and trophies to unlock.
