While previously announced as part of Ubisoft’s plan for Assassin’s Creed: Unity, more information is hitting the internet regarding the micro transactions inplemented in game.
Helix Credits, the currency purchasable with real world money, is used as a sort of fast unlock system in Assassin’s Creed: Unity. While not necessary to complete the game in any form, they offer the player a choice to unlock content much faster than through normal play. One example is a sword that may cost 25,000 livre versus only 800 Helix Credits. As you can see above, the currency averages 70 Helix Credits to US Dollar, with an additional amount depending on how much you purchase in bulk. By dropping $100USD on Unity‘s in game currency, that will bump up the amount you get to 200 Helix Credits per dollar, surely more than enough to purchase all of the optional upgrades in-game (we hope!).
