The much awaited Xbox One June update that brings external hard drive support is finally available for download according to Major Nelson. With a non-removable internal HDD on the console, this support is huge for those that may have filled their systems with games already.
This update also brings some other cool features like the ability to use real names and being able to use most every app in the Xbox catalog without the need for an Xbox Live Gold subscription. To coincide with the latter, Xbox One owners will have a chance to try out Hulu Plus for three months at no cost, just by signing up from within the app.
Lastly, the first batch of Games With Gold titles for Xbox One are now available with Halo: Spartan Assault and Max: The Curse of Brotherhood. A full walkthrough of the new update can be found in the video below:
