Not too long ago, we learned that Dragon Ball was ready to take the leap to next-gen with the announcement that the next game in the long running series would be coming out not only on Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3, but also the PlayStation 4. With the leap to next-gen, many wondered how much of the show the game would span, but now we know it will at least cover up through the Buu saga.
A magazine scan has revealed a brand new image for the game, which seems to shows Kid Buu in action. This seems to confirm that the game will at least cover all of Dragon Ball Z, as we’ve already seen clips that appear to be from the Saiyan and Frieza sagas, and we know they won’t be skipping the Android saga.
The first Budokai game only went through the end of the Cell Games, which was the same way with the first game on the last generations of games, Burst Limit. It’s good to see we aren’t getting a nerfed game while they get the handle on next-gen graphics this time around at least. New information on this game is expected next week at E3, so stay tuned for all the details.
