North Americans may be getting PlayStation Now first, but the United Kingdom may not be that far behind.
In an interview with Digital Spy, CEE’s UK managing director Fergal Gara hinted the UK will be getting PlayStation Now very soon.
We definitely want to bring it to Europe, and definitely to the UK. I think the UK will be one of the first European territories to launch in for two good reasons. The first is, it’s has a very strong gaming market and secondly the broadband infrastructure is up there with the best in Europe, or in the top end. Not all markets are in as strong [a] position in terms of broadband infrastructure.
A PlayStation Now beta launches in North America on July 31st. This will test the service before it will officially launch sometime in 2015.
Hopefully Sony will be announce a beta for all European and PAL territories for PlayStation Now before the end of the year.
