The Senran Kagura series of games certainly has a niche market for those that love fanservice in their games along with some fan high-paced gameplay. The series also saw a spinoff back in March in Japan known as Dekamori Senran Kagura, which caused a little controversy prior to release with its censored trailer. Now, it appears the game will be heading to the US with a new name according to a posting on the official E3 website.
The official site, E3 Insider, for a short time had a listing posted for a game known as Senran Kagura: Bon Appétit, yes I know what you are thinking, which said it would be coming to the US in Winter 2014.
Senran Kagura Bon Appétit! is a rhythm spin-off of the ninja brawler series, Senran Kagura. Featuring cooking battles rather than shinobi showdowns, the emphasis is on outrageous humor and delicious food.
The listing was soon removed, but with it falling in line with the previous teases by XSEED GAMES, it’s inevitable that we will learn more about this next week at E3.
