Just over 10 years ago, Samurai Warriors made its debut as a spinoff of the Dynasty Warriors series from Tecmo Koei. The game released in Japan for PlayStation 3 and PS Vita back in March, but did not have any release announcements for the US. However, now Tecmo Koei America has revealed a release date for Samurai Warriors 4 in the US, as well as saying that it will makes it grand debut at E3 next week.
This latest entry will feature over 50 playable characters along with plenty of new moves and game modes to play around with for quite awhile. Samurai Warriors 4 will be coming to all three PlayStation platforms, with the ability to play cooperatives through network play across all three systems.
Samurai Warriors 4 is set to release on October 21 for $59.99 on PlayStation 4, $49.99 on PlayStation 3, and $39.99 on PlayStation Vita.
