Following the recent controversy of the lack of same-sex relationships in Tomodachi Life on the Nintendo 3DS, another popular gaming series has weighed in on the topic.
Harvest Moon has been around for a long time and the upcoming entry, titled Harvest Moon: The Lost Valley, will not be adding same-sex marriage, but that doesn’t mean they aren’t talking about it for the future. When Natsume vice president of operations, Graham Markay was asked about this topic, he had the following to say:
It’s obviously something that we’re going to look into as we continue the Harvest Moon series. We’re going to look into all aspects of it.
Hiro Maekawa, president of Natsume also chimed in by saying “We always listen very carefully to fans’ voices.” Based on these comments, make sure to let your voices be heard on this topic in the future.
