The LA Times must not know much about games as they think Nintendo unveiled a white PS4 at E3.
The LA Times had a headline that read: “Nintendo’s white PlayStation 4 debuts”. This is alluding so Sony’s Glacier White PS4 model that comes bundled with Destiny. Since the Wii and Wii U consoles are white, maybe the LA Times though only Nintendo releases white consoles.
The LA Times somewhat made up for the mistake on its website highlighting that it was a mistake. Although they still mentioned Nintendo still owned PlayStation. They failed to say it should have said Sony.
If Nintendo bought out the PlayStation brand from Sony, that would have been as big of a story as when Disney bought out Star Wars.
